I know that this forum has been super helpful to me in the past and so I turn to those here who are far more savy about this issue and hope to the very depths of my soul ( no lie ) that you all can provide me help

A friend of mine bought a template from templatemonster.com ( bad bad idea ) and asked me to alter just a select few images and some text on the buttons... no big deal, I have done this a million times before. The template is a WP template.
The problem is, it must be altered in Adobe photoshop, fine I went and downloaded hte trial software.
I opened the template folder to find these files inside:

    screenshots
sources ( with number attached as well )
    theme
an index html file wh ich is blank except for this text - this is a technical file, please refer to documentation ( none given ) for location path of my themes index file.
also included is an info and readme doc.

I am having to alter the images I wanted to change inside Photoshop ( CS5) and they at templatemonster keep telling me to just alter the images inside photoshop, save with the option - save for web adn that that will save the template completely> I do this, without altering the images inside the image folders... yet when i upload the file to the wordpress blog... I get the orginal skin with none of my altered images.
also, they keep telling me to upload the entire folder, which screws up the enteir blog site and wont work ( huge error codes etc )
I hope that is enough to help explain this problem... I just want to know, is altering the PSD file enough to change the html AND do then upload ALL the files and folders that came ( listed above ) or do I just upload the template folder?

:( I am really sorry if this is not the correct place for this, if that is the case please just let me know and I will move it with my apologies. I am just so frustrated I could cry.

The find the WordPress theme folder, inside there should be a folder named \"images\" or \"img\" or something else indicating that it contains images. Un that folder, replace the original images with your edited ones, and uplod the whole theme forlder to wordpress.
    Hope this helps.

If the Photoshop file is sliced into many pieces, usually when you Save for the Web and Devices in Photoshop it creates by default a folder called images. Just check where you are saving the files. For example if you save the files in the folder images, Photoshop will create another folder inside called images again, so try saving in the root folder maybe this could be your problem.
