Guys, I'm helping organising an event called Launch48 which will be held in London (PayPal HQ in Richmond) next week (Oct. 16-18).
The aim is to create viable web apps/businesses in 48 hours and the weekend of "hackery" will be preceded by a one-day conference about rapid application development and how to start and manage a web business.
It's an event aimed at learning and meeting like-minded people and the first edition saw 100-ish attendees and lots of new business generated as an aside from the event itself.
Design, branding and identity skills are very much sought after and that's why I'm bouncing the idea here.
