Have I been blocked from this site? I can only get here at school and via proxy... otherwise

You know what, I've been having that problem too.
Looks like certain IP's are blocked.. I rebooted my router, got a new IP and I was OK.The reasoning? Who knows...

I was also having this problem.
Cool stuff huh? May get fixed in a few years or so.

your schools "web protection scanner" is probably scanning the page for "bad stuff" IE the stuff Joe hasn't gotten rid of on the homepage, so it blacklists the whole site.

The domain was expired Sunday. I made an attempt of snapping it up but was informed by GoDaddy.com that it has been renewed. OSWD.org domain also expired but it is now parked for AUTORENEWPERIOD.

Just because a domain expires for a couple days, it takes up to 60-90 days before it's released back into the wild, so trying to snap it up so quickly won't do you any good.
I actually just sent Frank (OSWD) an email to his unpublished email address and also left him a message on his phone. If I hear anything, I'll let you all know.
It would be a shame to let a 10 year old domain go away like that.

Sean, looks like Frank got your message and decided to renew the domain; it’s no longer “parkedâ€. I would not have lost twenty bucks if I knew about the registration process :(

I just got a note from GoDaddy informed me that OSWD has been renewed for two years. Even though if Frank did not renew it the domain would not be released to the public as you said; most likely it will put up for auction. GoDaddy said I can hire their agents for about seventy dollars to buy it from the owner.

damn...I would sure would snap up oswd.com myself...I have a thing for virtual real estate now and a good appreciation and understanding of what is potentially a gold mine. Frank has a goldmine in OSWD and I just wish one of us from those days could have bought it off him. He was smart to hold on to it.
I also have a special fondness for that site. That site helped me a lot...anyway...it's good to see everyone still keeps in touch one way or another, right?
well...I've been working for hours and it's time for me to have a break...take care all :)
