Yeap. Too bad you can't view the templates that I had on that site.

You can but you have to know the ID numbers since the search function has been disabled. OWD also has your designs but the site is running very slow so it is very difficult to view them. You can view them by the ID number at both sites:

    http://www.openwebdesign.org/design/2289/nighgames/

Note that the footer has been modified at OWD.

I also have a copy of your designs. Soon I will use them and others free designs to create a Designers Network. This will not be a community type of network since I could not get anyone to participate.

BTW, your designs are very nice; why not submit them to OD or GFWD?

Creating designs and throwing them out there for the world to use was fun for a while. But watching each community fall flat after a period of time has turned me off from donating my time and efforts.

I added your designs into the Web Designers Network (WDN). Let me know if you or anyone has suggestion to improve WDN.

My gads those are old. I haven't looked at those in years. I am totally surprised that anyone would have wanted to download those templates.

Your first submission was back in March 2004 and the last one was January 2006:

Even though you haven’t looked at them in years but apparently some people still do. Here is one of the sites use your designs:

Why don’t you create some new ones and submit them to GFWD.

Actually I had been a member on Open Designs since December 31, 2002. I think somewhere in that time frame I actually submitted most of these pages. The 2004 date came from when the site when down and was refreshed with the modern brown design it had for a while.

Well it looks like a lot of people who visit have been around for a long long time. @yugnats, I'm curious as to why you choose two templates to play with. Looking at them now 3 to four years later they're pretty bare and simple compared to the stuff submited now.

@sean, I remember when oswd was still black and had the mountain peaks logo.

Interesting enough. OSWD domain name is going to expire on 24-Sep-2009. I wonder if Frank is going to go ahead and renew the domain. Hate to see the site go away. It's got a google page rank of 5 and has over a million inbound links to it. That's just a money maker on auto-pilot now a days.

they were 'new' when i chose them as my first web project was many years ago. i am also a 'founding member' of this site (i juts dont have the fancy title like sean and them have).

ironically i bought a domain to restart this movement after monkeyman / shay abandoned us and lobsterman (joe) and the other admins were like "oh slow down dont go buying domains until we know whats happening"...and of course i wanted a non-profit but the admins didnt want that either so look where the site is now.....like i said lesson learned and now i only donate my time and $$ to causes i know will appreciate it....cheers :)

You joined June 7, 2006 and I joined June 30 of 2002. Why our ID numbers are out of sync is because when Frank brought the site back up and did some database importing from the original site (when MonkeyMan was involved) and cleanup, he used multiple backups and apparently your user name and account was imported before mine into his new system, so you received a newer ID number, but the sign up date table was left intact. I hope that makes sense :)
