this is now the third time i'm coming back to opendesigns and all my templates are gone. i've uploaded all my layouts again and again. well only 4 layouts so far but it's annoying. someone else encountered this problem too?

i've joined gfwd too but i like to share the layouts over a wider range... and opendesigns.org currently still have a higher reputation … but gfwd is on the way :-)

the whole system is bugged. half the things I have uploaded, the stylehseets have just disappeared.

i don't understand how someone could let going down a website with so much potential. the admin should sell the portal to someone willing to keep the mind and the project live.

Wow. I haven't poked in on OD in a long while and I see things are still a mess. Sad really after all we did to build it up.
Has anyone even talked to Joe/Lobsterman recently?
For those interested, GFWD's is thriving and updated on a regular basis.

It's a technical issue being looked into seriously. (just spoke with Joe) Nothing has changed in how the site works, so this is a strange occurance.

Um, no I don't think so. The site has been screwed up for many months now. A strange occurrence would be for Joe to jump on here, explain what's been going, and then for something to actually get changed and/or fixed around here. That would be a strange occurrence.

@Gnome - Do you have FTP access? Do you have access to any password protected areas that are not open to the either the general public or just for Moderators?
I know the site was built on WordPress and probably uses a MySQL database, but do you have access to a copy of the code or the database?
Having the ability to fix things would mean that you answered yes to the above questions. I know that you have done a lot in the past, but if Joe isn't giving you access to this stuff, then what you can do is very limited isn' it?
