   While working in Photoshop and Illustrator, my mouse pointer seemed to disappear whenever I moved it onto the working area. Does anybody have any ideas that might solve this? I have tried other mouses with the same results.

   Try calling Adobe. They should provide some tech support. What operating system are you using? Is there a lot of stuff running in the background?

   @Gnome -- The problem persists when there is only one program running and when others are running as well. I am using Mac OS 10.5.?

   Do you have the selection tool selected? The crosshairs get lost in the workspace for me too. I wish the would make it a little more visible.

   That happens to me sometimes when I'm applying a complex (CPU-intensive) filter or effect. Were you doing that?
