Must be a new side business for the website. Wow, that's just really really bad.

it is probably the security issues Joe was talking about. It happened to my WP site a few years ago.

This is the security issue Joe was talking about. I was able to catch him on Skype last night and chatted for maybe 5 minutes. Apparently someone is messing with the WP header file... but he didn't go into anymore detail. Anyway, hopefully this will be handled by Joe or whoever else is helping him behind the scenes.

I'm surprised that you were able to speak to Joe in the first place.

I was shocked too... all of a sudden I saw him log into Skype and basically pounced to try and talk with him.

Like I said, it was only maybe 5 minutes... so we didn't talk much... he did say that he looks at the forum daily and still cares for the site.

I've known Joe a good 4-5 years now but honestly I want to call BS on his statement to me because if he really cared, there are a ton of threads he should be replying to or at least doing a site blog/news update to let people know what's up.

I know we all get busy with life, but if Joe has a moment to say there has been a security issue, he can take another 2 seconds and say he's been busy or is still working on the site. Just my 2 cents.

@Sean - Totally agree. If he's got time to drop in and say that there is a security issue, then he's got time to drop in and make a forum post here and there.

Note: It does look like the wordpress version has been upgraded though.

OD has been running WordPress Version 2.7.1 for a while now, which is the current stable version, so that hasn't been updated recently. Not sure why you think it's been upgraded.

    I'm sorry, I thought I saw 2.5.x something earlier.

@papab30: No need to be sorry. Even though I'm no longer an OD admin, I was just curious because I do a lot of WordPress development and if there was a security hole I was unaware of, I'd like to track it down.
