this site and its forum is becoming like a spam ridden ghost town. Joe, if you don't waken up soon and address the community, there will be no community left to address.

It's such a shame that OD has ended up like this. Having watched OSWD and OWD follow this path, I'm not going to watch a third 'community' site do the same. It's time to say goodbye... :(

If everyone is going to leave please join http://opencss.net/forum/ so we don't all lose contact with one another.

@connor: I was the second person to sign up for an account on Open CSS forum, however when I'm logged in and try to read threads or post a new one, I get the following message:
You do not have permission to access this page. This could be because of one of the following reasons:
1. Your account has either been suspended or you have been banned from accessing this resource.
2. You do not have permission to access this page. Are you trying to access administrative pages or a resource that you shouldn't be? Check in the forum rules that you are allowed to perform this action.
3. Your account may still be awaiting activation or moderation.
When I'm not logged in, I can read all the threads, so since you are a mod on the forum, can you check into this for me? Seems like access levels are wonky. Thanks.

Looks like this site is coming alive again but for how long?

@tomw, Lets not be too negative. some may have done their best to kill OD but there's life in it yet.

I don’t think anyone wanted to kill OD. The site became a ghost town was when all the admins and moderators were removed and the owner non-responsive to most queries. Now that a new team is put in place perhaps it put life back in the site again.
I’m not being negative. That’s was a question.

@tomw, Yes it was a bit of a shock the way it was done, and I'm not saying it was good, but there has been a lot more action around here in the last few weeks than in the whole of the previous year. Maybe it was what was needed? I suggest that we need to be positive about the future and move on.
Like you I now hope that things will settle down and we can get on with the business we're here for.
