problem: site registration

    Hello, this account is approximately the 10th account I created, but it is the first account that received the password-mail. For all former accounts I used email addresses I use every day, so the reason of a wrong address or a typo doesn't count for me. Was there an error with these password-mails? Anyone else had a problem like that? supa

    I know there have been lots of problems with the site's email system recently, so it could be related to that.

    I had the same problem, I kept trying to register but never got any email. And I kept saying I'd forgotten my password to get wordpress to send me a new one. It eventually worked.

    This problem is going on for couple of months now. I emailed admins couple of times. I could only make registration work if I registered with gmail account. All others just don't work for me. Sometimes there was even some message about spam ips and domains or something. Anyway those emails that do not "come" are not found in spam folders or anywhere. Simply those are not sent.... I may be wrong but probably this site is loosing quite a lot registered users due to this "problem" ! It would be cool if admins and owners fix this issue.

    My registration only worked with a gmail account too.

    Weird, mine didn't work with a gmail account initially, only after I said I'd forgotten my password a few times.
