This forum looks AWESOME. I am sure over the coming weeks it will grow and refine, but it looks great!! I am new to your community, so I will begin by saying that I am not sure if this topic is appropriate for this community, but since it is a wordpress site I am have trouble with, I will give it a shot. If you don't want this thread, let me know. My question is one regarding divide/layer tags. I realize that technically "layers" is not the correct term, and I hope I confuse no one by using it, but by layers I mean one page on my blog is DHTML . It uses divides to accomplish what I want and I use the term layers to distinguish it from the regular divides that Wordpress uses to layout the sidebar and other regions of the blog. Anyway, the page in question is http://totalphysiqueonline.com/body-buddy/ It's a rather cool mouse-over trick that shows specific layers when you mouse-over certain regions of the image map you see there. The problem I am having with it is part CSS and part positioning, which goes back to styles. When you go to http://totalphysiqueonline.com/body-buddy/ and resize a browser page, you will notice that when you mouse over the resized image (for lack of a better way tp put it) the shown layers are all of the sudden out of place with respect to the image. Try it, you will see what I mean. I want to have these "pop-up" layers hold there place relative to the image, because if you shrink the browser page the image movers to the left, but the layers do not. So the layers appear to shift right. Understand? Is there a way to do this: Make the layers move with the image so that they hold their place inside the image map even when it moves slightly, as it does when a page is resized? I looked at the following tutorial closely: http://alistapart.com/articles/sprites/ but I do not think it would work. The image maps here create a different set of parameters to work with than mine does. Do not get me wrong, my image map works OK, but it is disconcerting to see the layers out of whack on other browsers. The layers need to be nestled somewhere in the middle of the two body guys. Any thoughts? PS Jason, you and yer boddies have done a great job here! --admin edit: moved to designer talk category--

Hmmm OK, I have a friend named Jason K, and it could be that I was under a misunderstanding. I thought he and you guys were building this together. My apologies. Still the site looks great.

We are building it together. The Community that is. But the Admins are doing most of the code work.

Indeed, it's a community project and we are all doing our part. The 3 of us admins are doing a ton of code work and we need all your suggestions, etc... so keep them coming. We really need people to start linking to the site. Be sure to link to the domain and not the forum. We want people coming in the front door so to speak, seeing the designs and the other things, like the forum too.

Are you guys considering organizing the forums into categories, like other forums?

The way this forum works is that all posts show in the main front page area, to see them by category please select Categories from the top main menu  Hope that helps!

Hi ramblingsoul. Both your designs have been approved. There was a third design but it didn't have anything attached, so I assume that was a mistake. The two designs that got approved were Colored Pencils and Bloody Business. If you had another design, please resubmit it. Thanks.
