    Yes, I have launched the Beta of wpDesign.org and more info is available here: http://wpdesign.org/blog/ In light of recent events at OWD I have also launched a new sistersite named osFriends.org aimed at creating a non-profit, fun, open-source community. More details are available on the site and I'm looking for moderators, etc. Lobstermans idea of a Board is an excellent one and I'm running with it on that project. So, I plan on registering a non-profit within 30 days and then transfering the domains, etc over to the non-profit group. Anyone who wants to be part of the non-profit open-source group should join the website and start posting. Creating the non-profit will ensure continued viability and will stop this from happening yet again :) Check it out: http://forum.osfriends.org/ (right now the main page is re-directing to the community forum)

    Yippee I'm very happy thing are moving right along and we still have a place to meet. Wish I could contribute more but I can at least give feedback. Thanks I was very sad after going to OWD this morning after the link adding controversy in the forum last night

    Great, will check it out, Stan. I did register on wpDesign.org. Hi Sloan :-). Exactly what did happen on OWD last night? And what link? I was away and had no idea that any trouble was brewing.

    Yes, great idea adding a second forum before we even decided on the first. I don't mind moving there, but we will split up in to a million if we all go and start forums. Again, it's not that i care for this forum at all, it is obviously temporary, but we should decide on things, get a board together, etc. As for the domain name, I really like it. I'd vote for it ;) And a side comment - punBB??? why???

    i agree lobsterman and i don't want to split everone up. i just figured i would launch it and see if anyone likes the idea. i know this forum is considered 'temporary' so i figured why not lauch it and see what happens :) Our company will sponsor the hosting and I would donate both sites to the new initiative: wpdesign.org - for template submissions, comments, etc osfriends.org - for our community forum ideas? suggestions? why punBB you ask? simply because you used Vanilla ;)

    well, Just because this is temporary we can decide on things within a day or two without anyone pushing it one way or another by registering domains and or hosting or making all the final decisions on his own. I say we vote on everything. Also, I think we deserve a full OWD replacement, the designs are what bring the traffic and visitors. not trying to say something against your project, but it is still 'your' personal project.
