Hi Len. If you want a copy of the source video, can you maybe get it from the person who recorded it?
As for capturing it, you can use KeepVid (http://keepvid.com/) which works pretty good. It will grab videos from the web.
You can also use the Firefox extension called Video Downloader.
Last, CinemaForge is a good, inexpensive tool. It's free to try; $24.95 to buy.
Len, you can embed the video in your websites with the code provided.
Have a look at 'Embed this Video' on the left side.
Here is the actual FLV: http://x3non.com/download/alec/150/Morristown+Exercise.flv
I pulled it off using Replay Media Catcher that works with everything but RTMPE and RTMPTE (Hulu, CBS TV, FOX TV, etc) well worth the $50.
If you need me to convert it, just tell me what you need it in.
@wfiedler
Sadly, the FLV came of RTMP not HTTP so, you could embed it, then rip the video. Also, I think he wants to have control over the video.
You paid $50 for that sketchy looking program? It's probably just using open source code and selling it but anyway
Sorry everyone for not responding. I had stuff going on the last day.
@sean- yep, tried keep vid and download helper already. It was not able to capture this vid.
@wolfi- did not want to embed. I wanted to control how long I use it.
@alec- Thank you. Just want I needed.
@kirby- will check it out.
Thanks all.
You are all the best.
@ Kirby:
Tried using your suggested program, but it won't work for me. Nothing saves to folder.
ALEC- Can you email me? dreamweaver8484 at yahoo dot com
yeah, kirby. It is worth the money. You really have to try it to believe it. This software is something special.
I emailed you also.
