Guys,
I'm not trying to start another long thread. That's exactly what I don't want to happen. Every month or so a huge thread comes up that ultimately lead to nowhere. These long threads are good for nothing but complaining, and still nothing ever gets done. Joe is never around, and I don't think that will ever change. And if he does, I'm not sure I want to be associated with a site anymore that is supported by what he has shown us to be his philosophy. I think its really time we consider relocating, rebuilding and get back to the good ole days. Maybe get some of our old members back.

Be patient. The forum on GFWD will be soon online. And everybody will find on GFWD many of the "old" members of OD. It's our new home ;-). Everybody is welcome. So join us!

papab30, it is coming. What tomw was referring to was the statement written on 8/22 that states,
"I can’t give you an exact public release date at this time, but it’s safe to say it will be within the next 30 days or less pending no snags or hiccups with the current code work in progress."
So the answer to this is "within the next 30 days".
I for one am very excited about catching up with old friends.

Indeed, as mentioned in my post, the GFWD forum is coming and the 30 day mark will be next week on the 22nd. Aaron and I are actually just wrapping things up this week with final testing, tweaks, etc for it.
Get Free Web Designs is moving forward just fine and a steady flow of design submissions and users are on the site daily.

Last December when the first change was happening I offered to host the site completely for free, in the end it was given to (whatever the name of the guy is who runs it now), which is fair enough. But my offer is still open to host the site for free and help code it.
I understand Sean has got GFWD but he's always promoted it as not being a replacement for OD and not being a competitor to OD. So i've never seen it that way. If things have changed then fair enough, but could we hurry things along a bit?

At this point simply brute forcing the username and passwords is faster then talking to Joe :D

I've offered to take over OD & to help with some of the coding to get things moving here, but have been denied both thus far. With the rate things are going....I'm not optimistic :(
