   Hey Guys,
   On of my teachers asked me to make a newsletter generator for her. They LOVE html emails (-hurls-) i got it all done but It doesn't display right in Outlook. If looks great in Mac's Mail but most of the teachers use outlook. I can link you o the html (http://conartistdesign.com/news/view-newsletter.php?id=2) or forward you an email if you like. I jsut can't seem to figure out whats wrong.

   Two things you can try:
   Drop the !doctype and head and simply wrap the body with "html" "/html".
   Give absolute image paths "img src="http:// ..."
   I hope this helps (but I have never ever seen Outlook).
   You can also insert a view it in your browser link to make it safe.

   The image woulnt display in either client if i used a direct path so i used BASE64 to do it. That worked perfectly in Mail but the image only displays halfway in Outlook.

   Turns out Outlook 2007 used MS Word to render HTML... how did that EVER sound lieka good idea. that's what gave me problems. Woohoo for nesting tables within tables within tables within tables.
