   Anyone know how I can set up (on a server) a system that will instantly create screenshots of designs uploaded? something like http://themes.wordpress.net/ Or does anyone know how it's done in OWD?

   OWD is done manually as far as I am aware... as for how we can automate it I have no idea, but I'm doing some research to try and find out right now :)

   it can be automated. I was actually working on code for that on OWD but mothballed it because of the things going on. We can discuss a little later today so we can figure out exactly how the uploads section will work so I'd know how to implement the screen shot stuff. Right now I'm working on server stuff for the hosting, so that is my number 1 priority for today.

   will the design uploads/unzipping/validation be automated? aren't those things more important than an automated screenshot maker?

   uploads and unzipping is easy. validation might be. it's not hard to manually check when approving.

   OWD currently has an automatic way of doing the html validation using w3c. not sure if it would incorporate into the wordpress work you're doing LobsterMan but we can look at the code and see.

   Yeah, I think it should be easy, to unzip, then get a result from w3c, I had something I was working on along time ago. But alas, like sean, it's stashed somewhere on my harddrive. I will see if I can scrounge it up.
