I just wanted to give everyone who creates open source web design templates a heads up that there are currently only 4 designs pending approval, so the design queue is really light at the moment. Basically that means now is a great time to get designs submitted for quick approval and a longer time on the home page once approved. Also, for those users who like copying other designs or doing all the spam linkage, don't even bother submitting designs as they won't be approved and if for some reason one slips through the approval process, you can bet someone will notice and then it will be removed right away.

Okay, I just uploaded a design that I've tried submitting before... it's been rejected at least twice, and I have no clue why. It's called Office Desk. If you don't approve it Sean (or Christopher, whoever is managing the queue), a reply on this thread would be really nice :) By the way, thanks for the heads up Sean.

@acousticsam: I just looked at your pending design. Something is wrong with the files you uploaded. Looks like the format is wrong or something. I don't see an index.html in the root folder of what you uploaded, and the img folder is empty, so the one pending now won't be approved either.

I've got the next two in my Zilla series (zilla 11 and 12) started, a remake of Zilla 6, and a new design based on Windows Vista in the works. So maybe I'll knock one or two of 'em out this weekend.

Ok, a few designs have been uploaded since I posted. I'll do more approvals 24 hours from now to allow for the current designs to get some home page exposure.

Oh snap Outsider! Vista sucks my will to live. At least people can downgrade it to Windows XP.

  10. Sean, I'm updating a template of mine. With a bunch of coding changes. I am also releaseing it under a new license, I released the original back in 2007. I'm kinda calling it a 2.0. I would like it to be showcased because its so much better than the older one. Do I just "update the template" or may i resubmit?

@connor: Since it's a revised version of the exact same design, update the template.

Sean: if you feel bored, you could merge the download count and remove old versions of my designs, since I re-uploaded as new designs when I updated (that was ages ago now). Or you could leave it as it is, since that would put one of my worst designs as incredibly popular (2,800) downloads.

@gnome: I'm far from bored, there is always lots to do, however let me know via email which designs you want removed and I'll see what I can do :bakie:

I just approved a new batch of submitted designs. As of this comment, there are only 6 designs now pending in the queue.
