I just noticed that this website doesn't have any type of terms of use or a privacy policy. That's pretty sad that I didn't even notice this before now, but when I started looking around all I could find is our FAQ which does include how to use the forums, rules for the fourm and design licenses. Now maybe this should be something that is taken care of before we have any changes in amdministration or moderation. No one, not one single user here knows what the terms of use or their expections of privacy are for this website. What can the site do with information, sell it to third parties, use it for their own things, etc. I'm thinking that this should be an issue that is taken up and discussed since we've had this come up in another thread.

@papab30: When Open Designs was started, a lot of things like this were sort of overlooked... not because we didn't want them, it just didn't seem needed at the time but as we continue to grow as a site and community, we have to update things and get stuff like this in place. As you mentioned, I've been busy working on the FAQ and Help page with some much needed information and policies. As for other documentation, We've (the admins) have been compiling things for a 'terms of use' and also a 'privacy policy'. Once we have it a little more flushed out, we can post it for the community to take a look at for fine tuning and user input before it goes into full effect. I'm also working on an 'opt in' and 'opt out' policy since for close to two years we've been building a user/member base with registered email addresses. Thanks for starting this thread by the way.
