For those of you who use WordPress, I proudly present WP Photo Album (WPPA)
WPPA (WP Photo Album) is a simple to use, and fully customizable plugin for managing photo albums within a WordPress powered site or blog.
WPPA Features easy album and photo management, on-the-fly thumbnail resizing, a theme system similar to the WordPress theme system, and much more.
I'd love to hear your feedback and see it in use.
Edit: And don't forget to Digg It. -

@Joe: I've been using it for a long time (since August last year). Have you made any modifications that need me to update it?
[Edited: I just realized that clicking on the individual photos in my WPPA albums is giving a 404 error. Since all was fine before I changed my Permalinks structure, I can only imagine this has something to do with that. Will try and figure it out. Or will post for help!

It only shares the name with the version I released back then. It was rewritten from scratch, now you can upload and manage photos within the admin -

When I click on the WP photo album example on Sean's site it reloads the header every time for every photo. is it supposed to? It looks very cool but I would not want my dial up users to have to reload my wordpress header on every photo they look at in my albums. -

@icyone: That's interesting. I don't see my header being reloaded every time. What browser are you using?
Keep in mind that version 1.1 of WPPA will have a lot more refinements, so if there is a display or reload bug, it will be squashed.
I already have a small laundry list for Joe. Just a few things I've come up with to add into the plugin or fine tune. -

If anyone's interested, here's my WPPA album. I haven't finished captioning everything yet, but feel free to look around.
But I want to know, can you put different albums on different pages? -

Hi Sean I'm using firefox 2.0.0.4. Pretty sure it's reloading as I get a flash of white where your header is and then your header reappears the search box blinks real fast also. But I did check it in IE7 and it does not do it there.
Payal's works fine with firefox 2.0.0.4. however
Looks fantastic, defiantly going to use this plugin Joe.
by the way Sean I love Clean Archives plugin also -

WordPress does reload the header and footer for designs but it's really quick and I also have caching, so I'm not to concerned.
Glad you like Clean Archives. More to come from it soon. -

I'm testing WPPA. I had a couple small problems/suggestions.
Lobsterman: I sent fixes for a couple of them to your gmail. If you're working on a 1.1, they might already be done. -

Are you sure your photos have been correctly uploaded? -

Not sure but the thumbnails show up on the album so I assumed they were correctly uploaded. I'll give it another try. -
