    Hey all,

First, I would like to say that I am a rabid fan of OD.org and have been admiring it's design and designers for some time. (I also sent an email saying that I would be happy to sponsor the forum, but never received a reply... No worries, I'm sure you guys thought I was a nut case!)

So I decided to start my own company and I have a slew of projects that I want to get started but I want to focus on this particular project first because it has already been done before and I own a domain which gets a lot of traffic already. I have a decent budget and I'm willing to accept ideas and input on how design and backend should/would work.

If you can code something like these two sites than contact me.

    opensourcefood.com
    pledgie.com

I will post a full description if asked.

    Thanks

This sounds like the beginning of an interesting project. Would you please post a full description so that we can see what you're aiming to accomplish? Thanks!

Thanks for the great response! I have received numerous e-mails and I will respond to all of them today. Also if you can include you’re past and current working portfolio, available time, and brief bio that would be great too.

@Lourdes: I think for now I'll respond to emails but will post when I can hammer out some additional details.

    Thanks again,
    dapro

Sounds like an interesting project. I would have developed something similar to OSF for you, at around the $620 mark (backend scripting only), but I'm very busy at the moment and have more than enough web development work as it is. I do more low end web development work (anything under 10,000 lines of code, that is), but if you need to stick to a budget, give me a shout at draicone [at] gmail [dot] com and I'll see if I can work something ou.
