    It's not entirely fluid. the sidebars are fixed and i want the content area in the middle to be fluid, but it keeps pushing the right sidebar down. is there some way to make it fit perfectly in between? or do i have to adjust the content area's % bit by bit until its perfect?

    Move the right side above the content in the source. If your math is right, that should fix it.

    Jeremy D: just a quick note on what i learnt from developing fluid designs; always view them on a wide screen monitorand i promise you if the content is what is being fluid it will look terrible and be very difficult to read!
