    Hopefully, we will have OD restored to full functionality within a few days. In the meantime, the forum is back.

    good to see the forum back!

    what sucks is that opendesigns is now blocked at school because it is a "Web log/Personal Page" so now I cannot visit at school. which i did alot in my free time. and youbypass.com is also blocked devil. if anyone knows good proxies that are NOT blocked, please let me know.

    Saad: http://www.torrify.com might not be blocked. Otherwise, install a proxy server on your home machine, and run your own proxy. (Proxying probably shouldn't be discussed here, but we are temporarily without the 'email user' feature)

    Saad, if you have your own hosting you could run an online proxy to get round it yourself, as long as it doesn't violate your hosts conditions of fair usage, if you can run one I can highly recommend that you should try out Surrogafier. If your doing any form of web site design in school then Open Designs may well be of use to you, so accessing the site may be of use to you, and I'm not sure why it's classed as a "Weblog / Personal Page" either... lol

    thanks guys, i will try them out tomorrow.

    i do alot of the "business side" of design at school, and actually design at home.

    our school is pretty lame, they block almost everything. if we try to do a report about something such as drugs, violence, anything of that sort, almost every site is blocked. i went to an ethics symposium a few weeks ago, and a discussion came up regarding school's blocking stuff. it personally ticks me off, sometimes hotmail is blocked and students email assignments to themselves, and it becomes impossible to access said assignments.

    This is unfair. This is why proxies were made by www.peacefire.org,

    My suggestion to fixing this is that you tell us what blocking system they are using, and the site admin could contact them to categorize it more correctly.

    If you didn't notice, right on the front page of torrify it says "Hijacked Design? Visit our inspiration" with a link to mediatemplate.

    It's being worked on now. I will update everyone once I have it locked in... but it's looking good.
