    Wolfram, I cried when I saw that video. I love dolphins...they are so beautiful...cry

    Karen, I'm normally a tough guy, but when I saw the video, I also cried. That's really too much even for me. Thanks for your support and I hope more of the community will sign the petition.

    Dolphins are very smart and beautiful creatures. This is totally wrong. I didn't even finish watching the video.

    I dont know what this has t do with OD but that was terrible...how could they do that to innocent animals...they just watched the suffering as if it was normal. Thus different cultures have different ideas of what is normal...but I think thats going to far crycrycrycrycryconfusedangryangry

    good question: "I dont know what this has t do with OD..."! But we are a world wide community - different cultures, different countries and so on... - and we want to make the internet a prettier place (the slogan of OD). So, apart from web design - a least I think so - we also can help to make the WORLD a prettier place bigsmile.

    we don't have to discuss just web design as Wolfram has pointed out...we are such a huge diverse group. Surely we all have other interests? And as long as we can remian tolerant of each other's views and opinions, I personally don't see the harm in discussing other things...that's why this topic is in the "general talk" category smile

    I think we have to teach people to respect nature...nature nutures us and yet many people seek to destroy and hurt the very things that sustain us...it is very sad.
