Just upgraded to the new word press. I followed directions, deactivated plugins, backup everything, but when I viewed my page, it was all screwed up. So, I tried going back to the older version. I did not lose any of my data, but the look of my page has changed.
The links at the top of the page disappeared, although when I sign in to edit, they are there. They just don't appear when a visitor looks at the page.
There is also a new link on the side panel that says 'useful links'.
I just my question is: Can anyone help me get back to my older version, and get the page working again, with the look it had earlier?
The address is:

Anyone who can help, I will be very grateful.
Thanks. -

Yes, I did turn them back on, but same problem. I was able to recover the pages, but I am truly frustrated. I did everything as I did before, but I don't know what happened. Crap, I wanted to be in bed 2 hours ago.
The only thing I cannot figure out. I did get all the links at the top of the page back, along with the pages they are associated with. For some reason, the title is now on the top of the page, which was never there. For example, there are only 3 links on the top nav. They are HOME, TERMS, and CONTACT. When you click on the link, the name of the link always appears on the top of the page.
How can I get rid of that link name at the top of the page? -

Thanks to everyone that helped me with the nav bar issue. I understand how to remove the text as I previously asked. As far as my update problem, when I moved my WP from 2.0.7 to 2.1, all the links on the top nav bar disappeared. Someone led me to this link, which may help others:

My questions for some of the computer sophisticated here, can someone explain to me how to apply this in beginner terms so I can finally update my Word Press? Thanks. -

Wordpress 2.1 Plugin Compatibility List
i haven't attempted an .7 to 2.1 yet but i think the categories table is now populated with the blogroll category and all links are assigned to that category. -

Thanks Stan. I don't have many plugins, but they are all on the list. Someone emailed me and said I need to find a new template. I am using the Blix template, which I am learning has an editing problem. -

I use the Regulus Theme by Binary Moon. Its a great wordpress template. (of course I have completely modified it to my specs.) I've also used Dark Cash, which is another great theme. -
