    I may be out for a little while, due to an accident I had playing "touch" football.
    I broke the tip of my finger upwards. If you have a weak stomach, I wouldn't click that...
    Typing is difficult, and painful. I may have to get surgery to get it to pop back in to place, so I don't know when I'll be back.
    Good luck until then guys and gals.

    I think I may have done something like that once cause my finger bends up like that. Not to that extreme though. If I had a digital camera at the time, I'd be able to show you a picture of my shattered eye socket. It wasn't pretty.

    Hah, thanks a lot guys.
    There are a LOT worse injuries out there. This one is just inconvinient.
    @Sean: I almost didn't go to the doctor at all. I actually played the rest of the football game thinking it was just jammed. It would have been imminent surgery once it healed improperly and someone else re-broke it for me out on the field confused

    Hahaha of course.
    I went to the doctor today, and he said it's like that permanently. I guess I have to get used to aiming one key down now, huh Bob? bigsmile

    Wow, thats not bad. What would be disturbing to look at would be a nail itself bent upwards away from the finger.

    @JJenZz: You weirdo. wink
    All my other fingers are straight, at least in the vertical plane.

    @Ecko: My fingernail did break under the skin where the bone broke, and the lower part is growing up in to the skin. That good enough?

    Heh, I don't think you need double jointed thumbs as proof of being a good artist, your nice site stats should be enough.
    I have double jointed pinkies. What does that mean?

    i broke my pinky once. got it slammed in the car door.

    warning- its a nasty break...

    XRay

    They had to put two pins in (which they took out a month or so later). And now the finger has a slight bend to it:
