Found some designs I thought I'd share:
Some of these are quite nice:
http://www.templateworld.com/free_templates.html
And here are some free 'charity' themed designs:
http://www.boxedart.com/phpshop/charity/
I've no affiliation with either of these sites, just thought people might like to see them. -

For some reason I was expecting to see tables, but they are not! Nice. -

Increase the text size and the layout falls apart. Other then that they're nice. -

sjgreg: that's because they specify the height of a bunch of things. -

I really like TemplateWorld actually, and their affiliate program is rather rewarding as well. -

hi, are you familiar with the templates themselves? sometimes i come across sites like these, and i wonder if the code is easy to read and fit to the standards everyone here uses. also if they have been tested in all browsers and such..
if not, do you recommend any other professionaly made templates?
thanks!Posted By: DraiconeI really like TemplateWorld actually, and their affiliate program is rather rewarding as well.

I don't like the way some of the designs are coded, lots and lots of absolute / relative positioning, fixed font sizes, and they by no means use the cleanest code. But, as a starting point (which is what templates are), they're not that bad actually. -

koloa: I suggest grabbing something from Andreas when he updates all his templates. IMHO, that is as close as you can get to a professionally designed template for free. -

This design looks suspiciously similar to the current OD theme... -

the only real similarity I see is the curved sections on the upper left side. Easily a coincidence. -

there's a lot of websites with the same style as that template Ecko... -

They're generally XHTML transitional. I can live with that. (I'm happy with HTML 4.01 as long as there aren't unclosed tags, dodgy table attributes etc.)
