    Ahem...

    Your Site
    http://www.pgelanguage.com/

Also using Andreas01 it seems, without credit?

But who cares? No-one! You know why? Because it's public domain work! So you don't have to credit it if you don't want too, and also you can freely redesign and redistribute the template without obstruction.

cheers Pete, i missed that :) but the point still remains, you don't have to give credit for Andreas's design so Nature, even if built off Andreas01, doesn't contrevene any legal license.

also, is it only me thats think Nature is so different colour wise etc.

if we moaned about every design that was similar in layout to another, that would get very boring very quickly...

I agree with Christopher, i'm a big advocate of public domain meaning you say goodbye to any rights to your design full stop. If that means some one using the template and tweaking it to say its theirs then so be it. I would expect the same PD template to be called something different all over the world. And I don't think it's morally wrong too as there are plenty of licences that allow templates to be acknowledged etc.

It means it is the property of everyone and anyone. You are free to make anything that is public domain your little bi*ch. devil

hello, excuse my bad English! you are right natural is based on andreas and I recognize it readily I did not change much thing not only tried to give him another look what does not remove anything with the talent andreas! only I have more facility with graphics than with the code as it is more as one springboard to understand as I natural it is a long training and should well be begun a day did.

@kty.....your template really doesn't look that much like Andreas01. I could probably find thousands of sites that look more like andreas01 than yours. Don't worry about this on person's comment. I think he was looking for something and found it.

Am i the only one that doesn't see the similarities at all?
other than the three columns each containing the same thing (both left columns have links, middle has content, right has copyright/more info) I dont see many similarities at all.
    Great design, kty.

The code is similar, as well as the layout and fonts and sizes, but that's the cool thing about public domain, someone can take someone else's work, improve/change it, and give it out...

Some bakies for kty's beautiful graphic design bakie, andreas's coding bakie, public domainbakie, and the wholle OD community bakie.

kty: You are very strong is graphic design, so basing your template off of Andreas' template makes sense, so that you can build off something that is already very good. The similarities are not obvious until someone compares the code. Great design, the graphics are very nice.

@DeanStev: Yes I've noticed that too and when I see it, I edit the comment/post to correct it.

I'm not sure if it's a bug in Vanilla itself or in the CSS.

Hey moderators, if you see this, feel free to edit the quote and correct it.

    Nice makeover, kty!

I really don't mind seeing templates that are based on mine. It is actually a good source of inspiration to see how people are adding new things and improving various details. And it gives template users more good templates to choose from, which is a good thing. Credits are always appreciated, but of course no requirement.

By the way, I'm preparing to upload the new version 2.5 of andreas01 to this site today. No major changes, just a few fixes and a secondary 2-column layout added...
