    Some post have been flying around with people buying and selling new computers/severs and that type of stuff along with some whats tools do you use posts so I decided to make a thread for people to show off their geek gear 'also know as your gadgets'

    Heres Mine


    What your looking at is 17" Powerbook G4 made by Apple Inc. Heres its specs
    Processor 1.5 GHz PowerPc
    Memory: 1.5 GB DDR SDRAM
    Running Mac OS X Version 10.4.8
    (If you close you can see my iMac behind me)

    And Heres my Favorite Apps.

    YourSQL - Database Manager
    Firefox - Web Browser
    Skype - VOIP
    Fetch - FTP Client
    skEdit - HTML/PHP/MySQL Editor
    CSSEdit - CSS Editor
    Adobe Photoshop CS 2 - Duh.

    Yeah, 17 inch widescreen...
    Inspiron 9200
    Pentium M 755
    WUXGA (1920x1200)
    ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 128MB graphics card
    80 Gig Hardrive
    512 megs of ram
    Running Virtual DJ 4.2

    And is now sitting in pieces because I broke a resistor off the motherboard when I was changing out the battery.. :)

    DENiAL: get out your solder. I have helped to fix a board with a dozen capacitors ripped off, and it booted up just fine once new ones were soldered on..

    Yeah, I started to do that, and the tip of my iron shattered, I haven't had the time to go pick up a new gun.. :)
