I'm needing a web based calendar application that will allow user registration so only certain people with a set access level can add or remove events from the calendar but allowing anyone to view the calendar.
I would like it so the specific user can only add or remove there own events and not other user events but an admin user can add, remove, etc on all events.
It would also be good for the users to have a user profile page and be able to edit that page.
Having the application functions, content look and feel separate would also be good so I can style it or drop it into a site design.
If anyone knows of an open source application that's PHP and MySQL based that can do this, let me know. Even if it's a paid application, pending price, that could work too.
Thanks in advance. -

Haven't tried it but SuperCali appears to do everything you want. The styling part might be harder as it appears the calendar is mainly for full screen use. -

@summitr: Thanks for the link. It's close to what I need but lacks the user profile page functionality.
I did look at this and it can be easily customized for look and feel, so that's good.
However, it's looking like I might need to create my own custom application to do exactly what I need.
Anyone interested in working on something like this with me and get co-author credit? -

I'd be interested, but my skills are probably not at the level needed to do this. -

Sean,
I am currently looking at http://www.easyphpcalendar.com
The admin controls in the demo are cunningly hidden but they do include user control. Not free but cheap.
I have also look at "anno domini" which is based on the CakePHP framework. THis is free and looks very promising.
I have also had some joy out of VCalendar.
Sorry I don't have all URLs to hand.
Cheers,
