Hi there!
A copple of weeks ago I've send an email to Christopher about his design Edg3 Design Two, but unfortunately no answer (he might be very busy). However my question is: HOW can I change the image in this template and put in my own name? I know almost nothing about professional software. Is there a freeware program with which I can - for example - open the image and type in my own name?
All suggestions are welcome!

Unless Christopher offers the original PSF, you are not going to be able to just open the file and replace edg3 with your own name. You can however make your own logo. There are good open source programs like the GIMP which can help you get this done. -

Hey Duncun, just got online and checking through all the unread threads and noticed this! I don't remember getting an email with this question, and I've just double checked my inbox and can't see it, so apologies if it got picked up as spam and I didn't check my spam folder in time to catch it, or if it didn't get through at all (that was happening about a month ago and was a host problem but is now sorted so they say).
Anyway moving on to your question, the image I used was just to create the edg3 text in Photoshop, and just typed out the text and added a basic reflection. You could either open up a image editing application, (the gimp is free and very good), and play around with text and stuff to create your own, or if you just wanted to type in your text into the webpage, I could create a seperate section for the header that you could include (I was meaning to do this anyway, so this could be a swift reason to actually get round to doing it!). As I should have included an alternative for people who don't have access to an image editor to create their own :o)
^ is the above any help, feel free to reply here or email me (christopher {-at-} edg3.co.uk) if you have any other questions, and sorry again for not receiving your email! -

Hey Christopher
First my compliments for your designs. You're very talented.
I'm not able to be creative with Gimp or a program like that. However, maybe it's a solution that you contact me off forum by email and make me a quote on costs for creating it by you? Also I would like to bring in some pictures which, when you click on them expand to a bigger format. I would appreciate an email at mailbox1961@gmail.com. Thanks in advance,
Duncan
