I screwed up my site and lost all of the links I had on it. There's a few people here that I did a link exchange with, so I wanted to get their URLs so I can set my link list on my site back up.

Of course, even those who weren't linked to before are free to exchange a link with me :)

Hey guys and gals. Be sure to check out Google's view on link exchanges which says in part:

...some webmasters engage in link exchange schemes and build partner pages exclusively for the sake of cross-linking, disregarding the quality of the links, the sources, and the long-term impact it will have on their sites. This is in violation of Google's webmaster guidelines and can negatively impact your site's ranking in search results.

...It is not only the number of links you have pointing to your site that matters, but also the quality and relevance of those links.

People wonder how I am always able to get really good rankings for my own sites or for clients I help out. Part of what I do is follow the above rules and guidelines.

Yes it's nice linking to friends, etc., but in the long run, you do need a little quality control and be picky on who you link too if you want to improve your SEO.
