This thing is awesome. I might buy it. You install software on your mac. Then Hook up a tuner to your cable and to your ethernet network and Wabam! TV on all the macs in your house. Even wirelessly with a wireless router. heres it in stupid form

This may be completely unrelated, but I wrote an app in C++ that does something like this. It uses TSReader's BDA drivers to capture from my TV tuner card and starts a stream on a specific port which can be accessed within the network, wired or wireless.
I then implemented a PHP/Ajax version when I got bored which follows the same principles using TSReader.

thats neat. naw its cool.. great info. i'm thinking about learning c++ myself. any tips?
