    that's right, firefox 3 has been released. go download it now. make your parents download it. make your friends download it. make your work mates download it. make random people in the streets download it.

    wow loading already seem twice as fast. Several of my add-on are not compatible but webdeveloper and ABP are and they are what counts for me

    It was going to be released at 10am PT but had a slight delay. It finally was available around 11:15 am PT.

    It seems to run a lot faster, so maybe, just maybe they finally plugged all the memory leaks.

    I'm still undecided on the new look of the actual browser, but who knows, maybe there will be a Firefox 2.0.0.14 classic skin ;)

    Apparently Firefox 3.0 is averaging 9,000 downloads a minute. That's amazing. No wonder this morning the download servers were running slow.

    yea the delay was pretty stupid imho. rather than going by GMT or something that made sense, they decided to wait for all the americans to wake up... its over a 24 hour period, there are always going to be times when the americans are sleeping! the actual release didn't take place until around 4:30am on the 18th for me, which really ruined my firefox day!

    But seems lighter, faster, better.

    I like it so far. Only lost 2 of my add-ons, one being smart page rank. Can anyone recommend another add-on similar to this which gives page ranks of sites? I also lost the ardvark addon.

    I just downloaded it and wow it is so hot I want to love it

    I downloaded some fresh now addons as well and they are great. Hopefully the old ones will be updated soon.

    I lost the Distrust addon. Anyone know any good replacements?

    Oh by the way, their servers went down last night around the time the download should have been live ;) We were told it would be 10:30 pm our time, but I could only access it around 2 am.

    I recently got the tip to just change browser version information in the extension .xpi file. In order to be compatible the addons require a check by the developer and an update of the browser version information in the xpi file. Some developers don't do this immediately. If you don't want to wait here is an "how to"

    My colorzilla is working fine... I'm using version 2 beta (v1.9).

    love Firefox 3! I have been using it since download day and have 0 issues...
    all my addons work once they were updated :)
