I'm moving an entire website and a script that sends email sends a copy of the invoice to info@mydomain.com.
The problem I am having is that the customer houses their internal mail server and I think the windows server knows that it resolves mydomain.com so it does not query the MX record to direct the mail to the correct location... thus I am getting a bounce back.
How do I redirect all of the mail to the correct mail server? They are on Windows Server 2003 using IIS 6. -

Sounds more like a DNS issue or an Exchange issue rather than an IIS problem.
Check firewalls, DNS pointers, and maybe active directory if they're using it. Also check through the code that fires off the email and make sure that everything is pointing to the correct addresses and what not.
Good luck. -

Mike,
What mail server software are you using? I have extensive experience with MailEnable and SmarterMail on Windows servers. Even is a server resolves as the A record for a domain, that shouldn't preclude routing to the assigned MX for the domain.
Feel free to contact me off-board if you want to share details of the situation.
