I've been debating re-booting my personal website, Philipmac.com, which as you can see, has been left neglected for quite some time. I spend most of my time administrating my main website, ModHalo.net, which is why my other site is so dusty. Even if I'm not writing on my personal site daily, I still feel the need to update my portfolio and other stuff that I can use to direct certain people to. I also want to write a little bit, just about thoughts and such; maybe like a somewhat public diary.

Alright, that's all nice to know, but the reason I'm posting this topic is to ask some opinion questions - of the people here that run personal sites, what do you guys write about? How much traffic do you get? What tools do you use (like Wordpress with certain plugins or what)? I've also just been out of the design light for so long, I don't want to lose my skills. If you have any thoughts to share that would help, please feel free. I have a small gap between now and when my summer job starts. I have my last final for school tomorrow, so I want to be productive and do something; not just lounge around the house.

I don't write about anything, and my site is quite static (no wordpress). I had 8,729 pages, 22,050 hits last week. I use a google sitemap, and some good clean keywording.
