Hi Guys
Hope you dont mind a newbie in your mists!
Looking for some suggestions on a CMS utility to plugin to a current html site.
Would like a script that can I suppose act as a standalone to the present site, although still forming one of the sections. ie. News
I suppose looking for a script that I can apply a site template to, so it matches the design of the rest of the site. Also the ability to power RSS feeds from CMS would be great. -

there is one just for that, Cutenews, if you don't mind them slapping copyright notices everywhere.
There is an unoficial derivative, Cutenews.ru, but english support is .... tricky. It's much better, though. -

sNews may be right for you as it is template independent. -

CushyCMS is extremely awesome for plugging into html sites. All you do is add a "cushycms" class to the elements you want to be editable in the CMS and voila... all integrated and ready to go! You can even add the class to an image and it will provide an image upload box in the CMS to replace that image. That amazed me haha.
There are of course some disadvantages to what seems 'the easiest CMS to implement ever' though! One of which is that you can't use the CMS to create new pages or generate dynamic content :( poopies... But it's useful for keeping static websites up to date.
Haha, gosh I sound like part of their sales team! -
