    Hi folks,
    I might have to install Joomla for a client and I was wondering if anyone else here who works with Joomla could recommend a few sites to get/buy templates. I have been to JoomlaShack so far. Particularly interested in 2-column templates at this stage.

    There are hundreds of free joomla Templates available. Just do a google search for free joomla templates. Depending on what joomla version you are using (joomla 1.0.13 or the new joomla 1.5) the requirements for the templates are different.

    check out rockettheme.com for some of the best ones ive ever seen. (a lot of joomla template designers use tables though. so watch out)
    EDIT: checked and this guy doesnt. I believe you pay a monthly fee and get all the templates you want

    thanks conartistsdesigns for your suggestion.
    i realise, as bluecafe pointed out, that there are 1000s out there. that's why i am after recommendations about which ones don't suck.
