    Thanks guys!

    It is great but the jjs version doesnt work in Opera 9+

    I wrote it works best in FF 2.xx and IE7. I don't use Opera for years... In the last years I have never had a client, who used this browser, so I thought not to waste my time to design for a third one.

    Edit:

    Browser users in Europe as of February 2008:

    IE 7.x = 45,1%
    IE 6.x = 30,9%
    Firefox 2.x = 17,1%
    AppleWebKit = 1,7%
    Firefox 1.x = 1%
    Mozilla= 2,6%
    Opera = 1%
    IE 5.x = 0,2%

    Why should I care for 1%?

    Because that 1% might have been a client, because that one percent might have made a perchase. There are lots of reasons. I try to make my designs work in every browser can, no matter what the stats say. 1% of a million is still ten thousand people. And thats a good enough reason for me.

    You might be right Connor and it's a good aspect. If it would be neccessary, I would also use Opera. Who knows...

    why promote a browser that doesn't support web standards - I say let the 1% die off, for the good of the web in the long term.

    opera supports standards - i believe it was the first browser to support css, and the first windows based browser to pass acid2. if there was a google toolbar for opera, i would use it over firefox.

    why promote a browser that doesn't support web standards? That's right - Let the 75% die off for the greater design good. :D...Anyway, happy mac Opera user here. For more than 3 years now.

    Anyway, the design really is interesting. I can't say I like it a lot, but it is interesting indeed.

    wfiedler: i think it would be awesome to have the content fade to static when the page changes instead of nothing. Just a little request.
