I recently posted an article on attackr.com... and its not viewable.... do these articles have to be approved... also wouldn't it be cool if attackr had "premium author" badges of something that frequent authors could recieve and put on their sites?

Hey there. Yes articles have to be approved and yours was just approved a few minutes ago.

You can write new articles just for attackr.com or share articles you have posted on your blog.
Can you please explain how sharing articles works?

I wrote a post about how to make a download link more visible, how would I share that on attackr without running into duplicate content issues?

@niemion: To avoid the duplicate content issue, either write something specifically for attackr.com or only put part of the post on attackr.com with a link to your full post on your site.

    Alright.

Why isn't there a choice between "saving" and "publishing"?
  3.
because it has to be approved

I know but I might save something that I don't want to be published.

Also, the articles need to be decent too. Check the posting guidelines and also look at previous articles to get an idea of what gets approved or not.

There are a few pending in queue but they are pretty lacking in content.

Yes, we want to avoid the duplicate content issue but having one or two very small paragraphs then a link to you won't make the list.

@niemion: if you have something you don't want approved, drop a note via the attackr.com contact page. The contact form does work on attackr.com just as an FYI.

@niemion: Got your message. Send another one when it's ready to go.

I'd also suggest changing the image as well because of the mouse pointer image.

    Sean >> I'll notify you.

Because of the middle finger or because someone could get confused having two cursors on the screen?

@niemion: Yes, the middle finger. Having decent and quality articles is one of the purposes of attackr.com and having an image basically giving the middle finger seems a little childish and takes away from the quality I think.

Out of curiosity, how long does it generally take for articles to get approved? I went ahead and submitted a couple articles on the new WordPress.

Depends on how many articles are in the queue.

Had you submitted a couple of weeks ago it would be likely be approved instantly. Now because of Sean's annual oration you will likely have to wait a month or more. bakie

@aaroncampbell: articles will be approved on a daily basis... and sometimes multiple times a day depending on how many we receive...
