Hello all
The much awaited stable version of Nanocms has been released as “NanoCMS v0.31″, and is available in NanoCMS Downloads Section.
This version is majorly a bugfix version ,with a lot of bugs fixed. Things are seeming to be stable, if you should experience any trouble shoot me an email, i will fix it immediatly.
The admin panel has been revamped a bit, with some nice icons added :). Everything else remains the same, and all tweaks are still compatible.
I couldn’t add new installation, advanced options, tweak uploads, etc for this version, and they would surely be present for upcoming v0.4 release shortly…
To update to v0.31, just make sure you dont harm your /data/pages, /data/pagesdata.txt, /data/areas folders, and replace everything else!
I will also be posting Video Tutorials for installing, updating, managing content, by today night or so..
NanoCMS is here to stay!!!
And i apologize to have kept everyone waiting so long, and i would see it never happens again.
Cheers & Enjoy
Thanks for your support -

Yet another "Tweak" for nanoCMS:
markItUp! editor tweak for nanoCMS 0.3x.
markItUp! is a new JavaScript plugin built on the jQuery library. It allows you to turn any textarea into a markup editor.
More infos about markItUp! >> here (website).
markItUp! editor tweak download here!
PS: Did I mention, that I love jQuery...?

As NanoCMS 0.31 seems to be stable, I will soon release a improved version, which I call NamoCMS pro.
Features:
- Web 2.0 stylish admin area
- Layout based on 960 Grid System
- Corrected (XTHML) code for validating
- NicEdit as WYSIWYG editor (tweak) also for content areas
- and many more...
To do:
- A gallery as a tweak (especially for Pete...)
Screenshots admin area:
- Home
- Create page
- Pages & options
- Content areas
- Tweaks
PS: After the release of NanoCMS 0.31 it seems, that Kaylan fell asleep again
! I hope I'm wrong...
Cheers

Lovely work again Wolfram... the 'Pimp my website' King.
The wysiwyg in the Content Areas is really great too. Can you edit the icons that are displayed in the niceditor?
I've also done some mods like removed the JS collapsable page lists (just one less click i have to do each time).
Is there any way you can configure NicEdit so that I can type in just "myimage.jpg" in the image url and it will load my image. What I'm trying to say is how do I define the image url path like we can in ContentControl? That would be huge help for me... and the gallery will be great too.
NicEdit is now my editor of choice by the way (for when I don't need styles).
My friend years ago was a huge fan of Guns n Roses. He adored them, yet he was also cursed by their inner turmoil and problems that plagued the group (which ultimately led to their downfall). He had to learn just to accept what they gave him but it hard work trying to remain faithful in spite of this. I reminded him of that classic Rolling Stones song "You can't always get want you want". I suppose we should be happy Kaylan isn't a rock star too! ;) -

Of course it's possible. It's just one GIF and I only have to replace the icons. Don't you like them? If you want, I can make other ones. -

Thanks Wolfram, I'll have a go myself first. But just few questions ...
1. does both the content areas and page editor run off the same niceditor? if it does can I still customise just the content areas nic functions?
2. do you know how to define the image url path like content control does with tinymce?
3. are you thawing out yet? -

Yes - and you can have different configurations for the content areas and page editor.do you know how to define the image url path like content control does with tinymce?
Just type in the path to your images, e.g. images/yourimage.jpg - it's simple like that.
BTW: download the latest version from the website of NicEdit. In IE7 NicEdit has some issues, so Firefox is your best choice - as usual.are you thawing out yet?
Sorry Pete - I don't understand, what you mean. I'm German and some terms/expressions I don't know...

What's happening Wolfram?
I sought of got the gallery integrated but it had to be done manually in the page data files... too messy. -

I'm just throwing together my own CMS (PHP/flat files) I want to use in the future for my clients with all the functions I need (media rich/PayPal functions etc.).
I'm a little bit tired to mod the uncompleted work of other people. Sorry to say that.
It will be released at the end of this month. I hope so...
It's called bakieCMS

Pete: If you want to see the developement frontend/backend please shot me a mail to wolframfiedler[at]t-online[dot]de and I will send you a link.

Thanks Wolfram... it's easy for us to ask isn't it!
I'll try to do my version and then wait for yours, no rush.
I'm emailing Kaylan now with some replies to his ideas he sent me for nanocms.
I'll keep in touch regardless

Uuh I'm really busy at the moment. Too many websites to complete..
I have two hungry kids and a demanding wife. I should have 4 hands, 2 brains and a day should have 48 hours. Or at least I should have an intelligent cat, who could help me a little bit
