I have been meaning to get more familiar with that process. Want to work it out together?
I have just never taken the time to sit down and do one but I have been looking at enough themes lately that I don't think it would take too long.
Whaddya Think Pete?
Thanks
Matt

@perthmetro: the multiflex 3 design has already been converted to WordPress by our own Ainslie
So you can probably use it as a guide to help with your project. -

Ok, sorry but i cheated :(
I used ThemePress to theme it... BUT i've learnt how all the tags work form it and have BIG probs with the css styling, but finally worked it out. I also had big probs with the whole < u l > < l i > thing, but again i think i've sorted it.
I'll post the theme soon, i'm off to bed now. -

Pete, can't help you with word press, but just a compliment on the site. It looks great. I really like the colors: black and gray work great together. Very classy looking. -

Is there anything specific you have a question about? Not sure exactly what you mean by "the whole <ul> <li> thing", but I'd be happy to help out if you can be a little more specific. -

Hey Pete if you use the visual editor (eeekk, I know but...) the new wordpress version gives you a whole additional advanced toolbar option.
To enable visual editor when logged in click my profile (upper right hand corner)
Not sure if that was the question, but it is cool even if it is only for the visual editor -

I've clicked that but the default tinymce configuration doesn't have much... in any case I found a good plugin that allows me to add lots more buttons to the toolbar.
For those who have been following this thread, I'm still keen to go thru the process. I've learnt a on doing it the first time and i'm keen to try it without doing it via themepress this time.
My first question is..
"does theming really only require me changing the theme folder files?"
if so... cool!
Anyone have a suggestion as to a template here they'd like to theme?
lets go -

Are you interested in learning how to port the template, or just have it done?
Either way, shoot me an email

Hi Nathan... my original post was to port a template, I surprised myself and learnt how to do it mainly by deconstructing a my theme i made thru 'themepress'. I find it the easiest way to learn by 'reverse-engineering'. So... with all this new found enthusiasm and confidence i was going to try to theme mf4 without using themepress. that is by my own steam, and i thought others who like to know how by doing (rather than being told) may like to go along with me and do it in this thread. -
