    As you all know, the contest is up in 2 days. EDIT: The contest deadline is extended to december 14th, 12 am GMT.
    We are having troubles with the contest submission system, and as much as we tried to fix it on time, someone on the other side may not be as helpful as we wished, so we will do this manually.

    Please send your submissions to odcontest@w3lift.org in a zip format. And do not forget to write down your OD user name.

    The subject must be exactly OD CONTEST

    You will receive a confirmation email within a few minutes. If you don't receive an email within a few hours, please try sending it again.

    There was a little glitch with mailbox rules that resulted in messages like that to people who participated in the voting on last contest.

    Will there be some kind of showcase where we can watch all the designs? To be honest I am soo curious .. cool

    i just sent my entry in a few minutes ago.. no reply yet. i have work in 6 hours so i need to get some sleep - what do i do if it didn't send properly?!
    edit: all good, just got the email. now i can stop stressing bigsmile

    Most of them arnt gonna make it before the deadline cuz the submission form was posted so late. But I hope you dont extend the deadline cuz that wud be unfair to those who have already submitted

    Winning on a technicality is not considered winning. If your design is best it will win.
    We might extend the deadline by a day or two, due to the late notice.

    You probably would have had a much better turn out if the form was up when the contest started. A bunch of momentum was built, but then lost when there was no way to actually submit and see designs. I know this contest might have been a bit last minute, but in the future, having a way to submit, as well as view the designs, would bolster participation. "Wow...I can do something as good as that!" etc etc.

    Please note that due to the delay in providing a submission method the contest deadline has been extended for another 2 days, to to december 14th, 12 am GMT.
    If you feel that you might be able to have something ready by then, please try.

    Well, that does give me a decent amount of time to get a design made. At first I didn't do it because not enough time but now I'll give it a try. Don't expect it to be the best design you ever seen though lol.

    I forgot to include my OD id. I resent it with my id but only got an confirmation for the first submission. I am wondering if my second submission email including the id was received or do I have to resend it again?

    Oooh yay, I had designed something but didnt have enough time to get it coded up... will hopefully be able to get that done now bigsmile

    Hmm maybe not... I just re-read the original contest post and completely forgot about the huge navigation list you provided! Haha... I've not designed to fit those. I just redesigned what they currently have so yeh, doubt I'll be submitting in that case cry poopies!

    You can do it. Ignore that list and make sure the design is fit for a hosting company. If you win, you might be asked to add a few page styles.

    I would like to participate, I have been looking forward to competetions for a long time but the timing couldn't be worse for me. A fair share of client work and a bunch of school work as well as a New York trip coming up. cry tongue
