    I just made this new design for my homepage. I have been needing a homepage design for a long time now, and after going through a lot of them I finally got to this one which I think is my best work.

    Inverse Normal Web Design

    Right now it is just a design but once I get a few more styles into the css and I install a cms on the site there will be a lot of content and a few designs I have been waiting to release. (I have only released one design up to now).

    to me the grey text seems a bit overshadowed by the bright green headings, but otherwise it looks nice

    I like the design but I think it needs a little more contrast with the text.

    A little bit too dark for me; is really hard to read on my laptop (and it reminds me of the old days when all monitors had black screens and green font... )

    But I like the design, very clean.

    Also on a normal monitor it's hard to read. My eyes are not the best anymore after spending years in front of a computer. And please think also of color blinded people! Many of them just see a black screen.

    I'm actually a fan of dark on dark, but even this is a bit too dark, and the fonts are quite small too (which makes it very hard for the dark on dark to be read). Having said that I absolutely love the green and the hover colours make it look 'glowing'...

    It looks a bit too dark. particularly if you set the laptop to power saver, it will be difficult to read the text on a dull lcd.

    I love the Menu. i am a fan of subtle hover effects. :) bakie

    Good job Kirby145 I have always liked the darker designs and have done a few myself. But you must be very careful with contrasting text and readability.
    It is a bit dark on my laptop also.
    anyway I like it very much.

    I like the layout and colours, but I agree that a little more contrast will be easier on the eye. It's very dark on my laptop and certain portions are hard to read. bakie

    Thank you for the replies and comments (I was not aware you posted until now)

    I have tested today my design on an old monitor and yes it does look a lot different than my lcd monitor so I am going to increase the contrast on the text.
