I am working on a new web design for a restaurant in San Antonio, Texas. I have been working on a mockup for over a week. I think it looks good now, but I want it to look GREAT! What are your tips?
Thanks for commenting on my designs every time

It looks great already! love it.
suggestion- the image on the left may look better if it is top aligned. -

I agree with Roshan about the image.
What color is the content font? I wonder how it would look with in white. For me, it is a little hard to read. I can't tell what color it is from the image.
Overall, it is an excellent design. Your client will be thrilled. -

what do you mean by "top-aligned"? -

As in the picture of the pasta moved all the way up. And it might also look good if you have other pictures like of a tomato and other food -

I agree with making the content font a little lighter. I also had trouble reading it. Great design. -

Very nice design, by the way. Just saying it before I start nitpicking.
The address on the header - the drop shadow makes it a little too hard to read
I agree with the other guys - the text should be a little bit whiter. try #efefef if you are not ready to go with a full-blown white.
Apart from that, If I lived over in America, I would go to that restaurant right now!

Eeek, the forums are getting hard to keep up with, with so much great stuff coming through. I like the design, but I find the text in the upper-right hard to read. I am not fond of the treatment of that image (perhaps 3 would look better, perhaps change the styling, definitely move it up top). -

I love your design, very warm cosy Italian, you have captured the spirit and the concept is very inviting.
Same comment as the others, the navigation is a little hard to read, your content text is larger than your navigation so it makes the navigation disappear into the background.
I would also suggest you center the whole site into the middle of the browser and use a different background other than white.
Otherwise A+
