We Hit 80 Designs
We just hit 80 approved designs on the site! This is great. We’ve only been up a few days now and things are rolling right along. Be sure to keep spreading the word and get people linking to the new site. We should be hitting 100 designs within hours at this rate, maybe even sooner.

I know for my contest entry I am trying to include about 10 designs at least on the front page =) I do hope others are doing the same because it is the designs we want to showcase here!
I think a minimum of 5 designs would be good and no more then 10 designs on the home page and as the site progresses, have a page for the top X amount of downloaded designs as well.
I want to compliment you guys for your fast acts. Beautiful and serious start-up! One comment: I think it will be wise to remove the name(s) OSWD / OWD out of the templates. Please don’n built in those two failed organisations. Create something totally new?

It’s up to the designers to remove those references. If we touched the templated, we’d be just as bad…
Thanks LobsterMan for your response. Maybe would it be an idea to email them all for their permission? I mean if they left willingly the old two .orgs, they might be willingly to participate in the nets best .org: OPENDESIGNS.ORG.
